Bisphenol AF
Hexafluorobisphenol AF vulcanizing agent, brand FF34. It is a white powder or crystal, slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol and ether, with a melting point of 160-163 degrees, a boiling point of 350-400 degrees, a flash point of 205 degrees, and can decompose and burn when heated to 510 degrees. Mainly used as a vulcanization accelerator for fluororubber, fluororubber vulcanized with FF34
Bisphenol-AF
English Name: Bisphenol AF
Synonyms: Hexafluorobisphenol A; 4,4'-(Hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphenol; 2,2-Bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane; Bisphenol AF; Hexafluorobisphenol A; 2,2-Bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane; 4,4'-[2,2,2-Trifluoro-1-(trifluoromethyl)ethanol]diphenol; 2,2'-Bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane
Appearance: White powder.
Applications: Bisphenol AF is mainly used as a vulcanizing agent or crosslinking agent for fluororubbers, often paired with vulcanization accelerators such as benzyltriphenylphosphonium chloride (BTPPC). When used as a vulcanizing agent, the final fluororubber products containing Bisphenol AF are easy to process and have excellent properties, including compression set, chemical resistance, and thermal stability. Bisphenol AF can also be used as a monomer in special polyimides, polyamides, polyesters, polycarbonates, and other polymers. Polymers containing Bisphenol AF can be applied in high-temperature resistant special-shaped parts, electronic materials, gas permeable membranes, and other special polymer applications.
