CAS No.:
Perfluoropolyether oil (PFPE-K) is a high-end lubricating oil, a synthetic polymer that is liquid at room temperature. It has high thermal stability, oxidation stability, excellent chemical inertness and insulation. Perfluoropolyether oil is extremely chemically stable, inert, non-toxic, and has high viscosity; it has excellent lubricity even at low temperatures, and can keep rotating parts running for a long time. It can withstand highly corrosive chemicals such as acids, alkalis, and oxidants, prevent decomposition or degradation caused by contact with materials, help extend the maintenance cycle of components, and provide long-lasting lubrication, effectively reducing lubricant consumption.
Models & Technical Indicators:
Product Properties:
-
Heat Resistance & Oxidation Stability: Perfluoropolyether oil is non-flammable; when used in air, it starts to decompose slowly above 400℃.
-
Chemical Stability: Perfluoropolyether oil remains stable even at high temperatures when exposed to highly corrosive substances such as acids, alkalis, and oxidants.
-
Viscosity Characteristics: The viscosity of perfluoropolyether oil has significant advantages over mineral oil.
-
Vapor Pressure-Temperature Characteristics: Perfluoropolyether oil has a large molecular weight and low pour point, so the lubricating oil exhibits very low vapor pressure from low to high temperatures.
-
Lubrication Characteristics: Perfluoropolyether oil shows a low friction coefficient, high load resistance and good lubricity.
-
Thermal-Oxidation Stability: Without effective catalysts, PFPE remains stable in the range of 270–300℃ even in the presence of oxygen; however, the presence of certain catalysts or inhibitors can change the thermal stability limit and degradation rate of PFPE.
-
Dielectric Properties: Perfluoropolyether has excellent dielectric properties, including high dielectric strength, high resistivity, low dielectric constant, and low dielectric loss tangent.
-
Tribological Properties: Perfluoropolyether oil has good lubricating ability.
Product Applications:
PFPE lubricants can meet the high-temperature and high-load application requirements in the machinery and automotive industries. The high stability and good wear resistance allow PFPE oils and greases to be used as lubricants for long service cycles and harsh operating conditions. They are widely used in various engineering and industrial fields, including chemical industry, electronics industry, machinery industry, nuclear industry, aerospace industry, magnetic media industry, etc.
Packaging, Transportation & Storage:
