Properties & Applications

It is a colorless transparent liquid at room temperature, with low ODP value and good chemical stability. Its physical and chemical properties are similar to CFC-11 and CFC-113; it can replace CFC-11 as a blowing agent for rigid/soft polyurethane foam plastics, or replace CFC-113 as a metal cleaner, desoldering agent, etc. Key characteristics:
- Strong chemical stability; no decomposition during room-temperature storage
- Soluble in most organic solvents, alcohols/ethers; good compatibility with greases/lubricating oils, no obvious impact on most plastics and rubbers
- No irritation to human skin and eye mucosa (except at high concentrations)
- Not a flammable liquid
